We had a great week sharing the saving love of Jesus with over 50 children every day!

Our theme verse was: “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 15:57. The Bible truths that were shared and discovered are:

MONDAY - God’s Might Tumbles Jericho’s Walls!
Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. – 1 Corinthians 15:57

TUESDAY - God delivers King Hezekiah’s Kingdom!
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. – Psalm 46:1

WEDNESDAY - God’s Word reforms King Josiah!
Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. – Proverbs 30:5

THURSDAY - King Jesus enters Jerusalem!
Behold your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is He. – Zechariah 9:9

FRIDAY - Jesus wins the Victory!
Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come! – Revelation 4:8

Through generous offerings, we collected $622.02 EXCEEDING our goal of $500. All offerings from this year’s VBS will be used to support mission work in Kenya. Christ’s Care for Children-Kenya provides for basic bodily needs, medical care and school for children from Kenya and as far away as Ethiopia. $90 pays all expenses for one child per month. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and their families we will be able to provide monthly expenses for one child for 6 months. Praise be to God for your generous hearts!!!

Each family received a CD that contained all the music they heard throughout the week and even some songs we didn’t have time to do. Additionally, they received a DVD that contained all the videos viewed throughout the week. This was our gift for sharing the week with us.

A fantastic and engaged staff of over 24 adult and youth volunteers helped make this ministry a success again this year.

Our inspiration for this mission? Let the Children Come to Me…
Luke 18:15 Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 17 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”
